the big crafty

left sunny miami, land of small dresses and bare legs, at 6:30 am this morning to arrive in snowy, 26 degree asheville. what a shock back to reality that was!

i was able to rest for an hour or so, watched the recent modern family and 30 rock episodes and swung by justin's place to pick him up and headed over to the big crafty -- a giant craft fair downtown with dozens of participating crafters selling their goods.

i purposely bought my ticket for such an ungodly hour because i really didn't want to miss the event. devoted, no?! i went last year and got lots of great hand-made gifties from around asheville to give to family and friends for the holidays.

*lusting over new designs from vintage vanity and meg roberts

*love love love! sterling silver necklace by olivia de soria - $230

*oh goodness, this is too much

*gorgeous handmade books from rock pile bindery

*beautiful screen printed goods from chomp industries

i think the fair is actually twice a year. i'd love to crank out a bunch of simple letter press cards to sell at the next one!
